Description
A unique (Italian origin) variety pioneered by Stanley Estates in NZ. This wine is medium to full bodied, with an intense burgundy colour. Fruit driven style with black doris plums, ripe morello cherry and blackberries. Soft on the nose, with a lengthy palate and subtle finish.
“This is spicy and savoury with sweet plum, dried herb, clove and roasted hazelnut characters, combined with supple palate displaying fine texture and polished tannins, finishing complex and pleasingly dry.”
