STANROCK Marlborough
"STAN" or Stanley Rover was the Landrover that took horticulturalists Bridget and Steve on an epic 32,000km journey across Africa in 1991. In 2003 they settled in Marlborough, New Zealand to plant a vineyard.
The "ROCK" is Mount Tapuae-O-Uenuku, known locally as Mt Tappy, that looks down on our vineyard from the head of the Awatere Valley in the stunning province of Marlborough. This old eroded volcano is the source for our free draining, river-deposited terraces of soils.
STANROCK is the export label of Stanley Estates for some markets. For more information go to our dedicated Stanrock Website
