NEWS - We have just released our first dessert wine: Stanley Estates Noble Harvest 2011. A deliciously sumptuous dessert wine from a few rows of our grapes in the Valley Block of the Little Oasis vineyard.
Stanley Estates Awatere Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc
Bridget Ennals and Steve Pellett travelled the world to find a place to put down their roots. They found that place at the top of New Zealand’s South Island, under the cool gaze of Mount Tapuae-O-Uenuku (the footprint of the rainbow) in Marlborough’s spectacular Awatere Valley.
The Awatere Valley’s sunny days and cool nights ripen grapes slowly, allowing them to develop herbaceous flavours and gooseberry tastes – distinctively different to the sauvignon produced elsewhere in Marlborough. Growing Sauvignon Blanc sustainably.
Stanley Estates launches New Zealands’ first Albarino wine with the wine club members at the Redwood Tavern in Blenheim on February 9th 2012.
